Visual Cues
It is important to include visually appealing content for consumers to see in order to really capture the audience's attention and in turn create more business. There is a reason why we see so many different colors in logos and brands, they are all trying to create their own memorable cues. In an article from Chiqui Esteban, "Language is not just words. We communicate visually as well, but even our visual symbols are not a universal language" (Esteban 2015).
Richard Brooks mentioned, "Yellow is the colour of sunlight. Brands [...] use yellow to give their logos an optimistic, happy vibe. In most Western cultures, yellow brings to mind the warmth of the sun. It’s a summer colour, and can also indicate hospitality (Brooks 2016). Matthew used hints of yellow throughout his site to give off a feeling of warmth and hospitality.
